The artist's studio is located in Hobbsville, in northeastern North Carolina. Her artwork is influenced by the serene, historic, southern landscape. Her love of the scenery and the lifestyle is reflected in her paintings.
She studied art at East Carolina University and continues to broaden her knowledge and refine her skills, through workshops and one on one instruction with noted artists of our time.
Although watercolor is her favorite medium, she also enjoys using acrylic, collage and ink drawings to portray the breathtaking, endless beauty of the geographical area where she resides.
Her work is on display at The Center in Elizabeth City, NC, the Perquimans Art League in Hertford, NC and the gallery at the Chowan Arts Council in Edenton, NC and at her studio in Hobbsville
